KATHRYN AUSTIN COUNSELING, PLLC operates the Gravity & Grace / Kathryn Austin Wellness mobile app, a branded Client Portal provided through GoHighLevel. This policy explains how we collect, use, retain and share information through the app. It applies to the app; our Website Privacy Policy separately describes our website, forms and website tracking. Contact us at kathryn@kathrynaustinwellness.com.
1.Information collected
- Contact information: your name, email address and optional phone number.
- Account information: account credentials and profile details used to provide and protect access.
- Community content: posts, comments, messages and other content you submit.
- Activity and technical information: content viewed, time spent, app activity, and device, operating system and browser information.
- Voluntarily shared wellness content: reflections and other information you choose to provide, which may contain sensitive personal details.
- Transaction and membership records: third-party checkout providers handle transaction details; records may include amounts, transaction status and access entitlements.
The app is not intended for clinical records. Please avoid posting sensitive medical information. Information you voluntarily share can still be personal or sensitive; this policy does not imply that such information cannot be collected.
2.How information is used
- To create and manage accounts, authenticate access and provide content entitlements.
- To administer transactions and recurring memberships, keep records and respond to account inquiries.
- To enable community communication, display shared content and moderate conduct.
- To understand activity, improve content and app performance, and address technical or security issues.
- To send service notices and optional updates or marketing according to your choices.
- To meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
You can opt out of marketing using the opt-out link in those messages or by contacting us. Necessary account, access, transaction and security notices may continue.
3.When information is shared
We share information as needed with GoHighLevel and other providers supporting hosting, account access, communications, analytics and transaction processing. These providers handle information for the services they supply and may also have their own privacy terms. Third-party checkout providers handle transaction details on their systems.
Content you share in community areas is visible to other members with access to those areas. Messages are accessible to their recipients and may be processed by platform providers or authorized personnel as needed to operate the service, address reports or meet legal duties. Other people may copy or share content they can see; consider this before posting.
We may disclose information to authorities or others where legally required, or as reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and security. We do not sell personal information.
4.Safeguards and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system or transmission is absolutely secure. Protect your account credentials and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service and manage access, and to meet legal requirements, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the type of record and applicable obligations; some records may need to remain after an account is closed.
5.Your choices and requests
To request access, correction, deletion or a portable copy of your personal information, email kathryn@kathrynaustinwellness.com. You may also request account closure and associated data deletion at that address. We may confirm your identity before acting and will handle requests in accordance with applicable law, including lawful retention requirements and the rights of others. We will explain any applicable limits.
An account or data deletion request is separate from ending a recurring membership. See the Cancellation Policy and your enrollment terms for how to end an arrangement; deleting the app alone does not end it.
6.Age and wellness boundaries
The app is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, contact us so we can review and address it. App participation and community communication do not establish a therapy relationship.
7.Updates and contact
We may update this policy to reflect service changes or legal requirements. The effective date identifies the current version, and we communicate changes where required by law. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to KATHRYN AUSTIN COUNSELING, PLLC at kathryn@kathrynaustinwellness.com.
Read the App Terms of Use.
